Consumer Interest in Refractive Surgery

 

 

 

About this data: The information in this month's Stat Tracker was collected in December 2002 by Health Products Research Inc. of Whitehouse, N.J., via its Consumer Eyewear Study. 60,000 consumer households were screened for eyewear use. A stratified sample of 2,200 households was then selected according to type of eyewear worn, age of panel member, total household income and Census region of the United States. After manual and computer checks for validity, completeness and consistency of response were completed, 1,618 questionnaires with responses from 2,906 eyewear users were used.
